Legal proceedings involving Jordi Cuixart
Òmnium president Jordi Cuixart was imprisoned in proceedings arising from protests connected with the 2017 Catalan independence referendum. International human-rights and civil-liberties organizations criticized the detention and called for the release of those imprisoned.
